My Strippy Blocks
The image on the left is before work was done. There was a ragged binding and some of the fabrics were worn out.
The image on the right is after I pieced in new cloth and put on a new binding. Sometimes the old patchwork is removed if that action does not destabilize the quilt. In other cases, the new" patch is sewn right on top of the old one. Quilting stitches are added.
